As of January 1998, we are accepting sponsorship, advertising, and donations. All of these will be used to increase the quality and quantity of the information provided in this web site. For example, we are planning to put more images and other multimedia objects and of course more content. To do so we have to obtain high-quality scanners, graphics tools and utilities, and other multimedia tools and equipments. We are also planing to get our own server, or at least contribute to the upgrade of current server.
We will allow advertising banners to be displayed on our pages. These banners can point to your web site, by providing links. We are also planning to put a page which lists our sponsors. Banners must follow the following guideline:

Currently, the number of daily visitors to this web site is around 1500 (and increasing steadily). This number is based on the counter installed on most pages. We use this counter since we do not have access to the logfiles. The number of actual hits is obviously more than 1500 since one visitor may visit more than one pages.
The counter cannot keep track the number of real visitors accurately. For example, the counter is incremented only once for each visitor on each session, eventhough the visitor (user) browsed more than one pages. The counter keeps track where the user came from (based on the IP number) and based on this information it will not increment the counter if the user came from the same computer. Thus, several users from a system behind a proxy may be counted as one user. Also some pages do not have counters. In short, the number of real access if greater than the number shown by the counter.
The cost of advertising is usually US$60 for one thousands (1000) visits or hits. Based on our current hit (about 1500 visitors/day and increasing), the real cost of sponsorship is US$60 for 1 days.
However, we offer US$50/month for one banner in a page of your choice (except the main page). That's so inexpensive.
We would like to encourage the payment in Rupiah (Indonesian currency) to
support our country. Our currency is under pressure and the rate keeps on
changing drastically on hourly basis. For example, as of this writing US$1
= Rp. 11000,-
If you pay in Rupiah, we give you a discount. US$1 = Rp 8000,-
Thus, for a month you pay Rp 400.000,- only.
We would like to protect the interest of our visitors by providing less advertising and only allow "polite", kids-and-cultural-friendly advertising. We have the right to refuse sponsorhip.
